OUR CURRICULUM
The CED program covers basic units of study with age-appropriate activities in mind.
Activity Time and Learning Centers
Provides directed and non-directed opportunities for art, puzzles, games, books and more.
Creative Movement and Music
Offers music appreciation and physical movement through songs and singing games.
Language Development, Number and Letter Readiness
Reinforces learning of these fundamental skills through all classroom activities.
Cognitive
Educates in all areas of math, reading, science and social studies.
Communication
Develops listening skills, verbal and non-verbal expression and vocabulary.
Motor
Improves both gross motor skills (marching, skipping, balancing) and fine motor skills (finger muscles, cutting, folding, stirring).
Social Emotional
Encourages self-help skills, self-discipline and a positive self-concept.
Chapel Time
Consists of singing, Bible stories and prayer every Wednesday.
Outdoor Play
Includes free play on our playground, as well as teacher-guided games.
Seasonal Events and Life Skills
Covers fun topics such as all holiday fun and traditions, fire safety, dental hygiene, transportation methods, animals and more!
CLASS STRUCTURE
We offer instruction for children ages 2 years old through Pre-K, and placement is based on the child's age as of September 1st of each school year. Average student-teacher ratio is approximately 8:1. Our classes start at 8:30 am and end at 2:20 pm. We follow the holiday and weather-closing schedule set by Aledo ISD.
Two-Year Old Class
2x week - Monday, Wednesday
Three-Year Old Class
3x week - Monday - Wednesday
Pre-K Class
3x week - Monday - Wednesday
4x week - Monday - Thursday
TUITION AND FEES
The CED registration fee is $200 per child and due at the time of registration. This covers the spring supply fee. A secondary supply fee of $200 is due with September tuition and covers the fall supply fee.
Tuition is calculated for the entire year and is divided into nine equal payments, September through May, regardless of holidays or school closings each month. Tuition is due by the first day of class each month.
